Inside Elections just downgraded Oregon’s governor’s race from “Solid Democrat” to “Lean Democrat” – making us the only race with that rating in the country.

The timing here is critical: President Trump and his Republican allies view Oregon as a major pickup opportunity in 2026 and will use this rating change as justification to spend millions more to flip this seat. At every turn, I’ve stood up to President Trump’s dangerous agenda and protected Oregon values. I’ve defended reproductive rights and health care access, safeguarded voting rights, and increased access to addiction treatment and mental health services.

But my extreme opponent, Christine Drazan, is threatening to undo that work – and this new race rating confirms that she’s closer than ever in the polls.
