Yes, we are famous for our pizza and Husky basketball, but political campaigns that are free from endless fundraising are pretty great, too. Candidates raise a small amount from people in their district to show they have support. Then, they receive a full grant to run the rest of their campaign without having to ask anyone else for money.

A record number of Democrats are running for the Connecticut state legislature this year. We are running a Democrat in every Senate seat, and we are competing in 97% of the House seats across the state. In some towns, our candidates still need a little help reaching that small fundraising goal.
