John,
President Trump has officially announced that, if re-elected, one of his primary goals will be to “end bureaucratic government bullying of U.S. citizens and small businesses.”
It’s an admirable goal and he has already done much to roll back the bureaucratic state.
But here’s the hard truth: none of these changes are permanent.
Trump’s successor could just as easily reinstate overbearing federal regulations, and then we’ll be right back where we started.
That’s why we need to call a Convention of States now, and pass constitutional amendments that will make these policies permanent — regardless of who’s sitting in the White House.
It takes 34 states passing the same resolution to call the convention, and we already have 15 onboard.
Now is the time to double down on our efforts and finish the job before a socialist takes over the presidency and attempts to undermine our progress.
