That's what Donald Trump said when he visited Minnesota recently. I hate to say it but -- he's right.

Minnesota is one of the key battleground states this year, and Minnesota's 3rd congressional district is the firewall. Donald Trump has focused heavily on suburban districts like mine, and now that polls show Donald Trump and Joe Biden within three points of each other, we have to be prepared for a flood of dark money and GOP investments in this district.

Right now, this is tighter than any recent presidential election -- since the 1970s. That's nearly five decades of Democratic presidential wins in Minnesota, but we can't rest on our laurels.

Anywhere Donald Trump goes, a flood of dark money follows. We are talking about extremely rich donors interested in helping elect Trump by flipping suburban districts like mine -- and there are few bigger battleground states than Minnesota this year to do that.

I won't take a penny from special interests. You know that. So we need to raise $10,000 by Monday's end-of-month deadline -- will you invest in the work ahead to keep Minnesota's 3rd district blue?
