Our nation is facing three crises at once: the COVID-19 pandemic, an economic recession, and a reckoning with racial inequalities and police brutality. Tumultuous times call for steady, principled leaders. We have that with Donald in Congress, but we certainly don't have that with President Trump in the White House.
That's why Donald is doing everything he can to ensure Joe Biden and Kamala Harris become our next president and vice president of the United States.
Joe Biden has a plan to "Build Back Better" that will not only restart our economy and fight COVID-19, but also invest in clean energy and ensure racial equity through our economy. The plan will create millions of good paying jobs and reclaim our country's manufacturing base.
Donald has led the effort in the House to ramp up domestic content in our annual defense bill and ensure taxpayer dollars are used to create good paying jobs in America. Two of Donald's clean energy bills recently passed in the House to incentivize energy efficient power usage and build offshore turbines.
But Donald understands any gains we make in our economy will be short lived if they are not shared by all Americans, and for far too long Americans of color have been left behind. Racial justice and economic prosperity go hand in hand.
