Five candidates with blue-collar backgrounds are teaming up to boost their fundraising and their populist messaging ahead of November.

Here's the idea: a few of us working-class candidates launched something called the Blue Collar Brigade .

You know, I’ve held a lot of jobs in my time. Been a dishwasher, pizza delivery driver, baseball coach, and firefighter.

I never thought "Democratic nominee for Congress" would be one of them.

But I was sick and tired of a status quo that kicks working people in the teeth. So, I took the leap, and now I'm doing everything I can to uplift candidates from a similar background.

We don't have a rolodex of donors or decades of political experience. What we do have is lived experience, helping people in our community.
