Who said it: Donald Trump or my opponent, Loren Culp?

He compared himself to Rosa Parks because he took on the "civil rights" of 2nd Amendment activists by refusing to enforce a law passed by a majority of voters.

He compared officers who did enforce that law to Nazi military officers.

He called the state-mandated mask requirement "unconstitutional and ridiculous."

The answer? Though these quotes sound as Trumpy as you can get, they were all said by my Republican opponent, Loren Culp.

The parallels don't stop there: Both Trump and Culp weren't taken seriously. Both went on to be the nominees for their party. One got elected in 2016 and the other might get elected in 2020. Unless we fight back.

Coming up next week is our first end-of-month deadline since the general election officially began. So we set an aggressive end-of-month goal of raising $40,000 by midnight on Monday. I want to be clear about this threat. Republicans running for governor across the country are raking in huge campaign checks. The Republican Governors Association has millions to unleash against the few Democrats up for reelection this cycle. They only have four governorships to flip in 2020, and they have an unparalleled war chest at their disposal.

Washington voters start voting sooner than you'd expect. We must be ready for the attacks and even an "October surprise." We're running out of time, and we've seen what happens when we take a win for granted. We can't afford to do that here.
