Jeff Van Drew isn’t a politician by trade.

Jeff was a career dentist and a volunteer firefighter in Cape May County, New Jersey. So unlike some politicians who spend their careers rising through the ranks seeking the next highest office, Jeff has spent his career as a community-driven South Jersey resident and small business owner. 

Whether it’s access to affordable health care, crippling property taxes, the uncertainty of Medicare and Social Security’s future, or the rising costs of higher education, Jeff understands the anxieties of New Jerseyans and many Americans. Because he’s sat down at the table and listened. 

Now in Congress, Jeff has one guiding principle: “I have never met a public concern that didn’t stand a better chance of being solved by working together than going it alone.”

That’s why Jeff is spending his time working to deliver results, not political posturing. He’s already played a key role in fighting for better public transportation, preventing future government shutdowns, fighting back against the expansion of offshore drilling, and cracking down on corruption in our democracy.
