I'm proud to endorse Aisha Farooqi for Congress in Michigan's 11th District.
Aisha is the daughter of immigrants, a former legal aid attorney and prosecutor, and a lifelong fighter for working people. She has spent her career standing up for families who were ignored, taking on tough fights, and making sure justice wasn't reserved for those with power or wealth.
That's why I'm supporting her.
Aisha and I are both proud to be endorsed by Track AIPAC because we believe Democrats should answer to voters—not powerful special interests. We refuse to take AIPAC money, and we won't back down from fighting for peace, human rights, and an independent foreign policy.
Aisha has been unequivocal in calling for an end to the genocide in Gaza. She won't cave when it's politically inconvenient. She'll lead.
She'll also fight for affordable health care, lower costs, workers' rights, and an economy that works for working people—not just billionaires.
Congress needs more leaders with courage. People who can't be bought. People willing to challenge both Donald Trump and the special interests that have too much influence in Washington.
