On Thursday 16 July, Fawcett Chief Exec Penny East will be joined by Elliott Rae MBE, founder of Parenting Out Loud and Equal Parenting Week, for a conversation about one of the biggest barriers to women's equality: unequal caring responsibilities.

We know that women still carry a disproportionate share of unpaid care. That's one of the biggest drivers of the motherhood penalty and the gender pay gap. It's also why Fawcett campaigns for better parental leave, workplace equality and a fairer sharing of care. Earlier this year, we partnered with Equal Parenting Week, and Penny joined Elliott at the Push for Paternity Leave event to call for better support for families and champion equal parenting.

This exclusive Fawcett Talks event is one of the ways our members come together to explore the biggest issues facing women today.
