Hello John,
Today, we celebrate 250 years of freedom in this beautiful country, which we all call home. We remember the perseverance of brave citizens who fought for the right to freedom under an oppressive monarch.
I cannot talk about this milestone in America’s history without talking about the current situation here. For the last 10 years and during both of the current administration's terms, we’ve all had to have that same persevering spirit and know that we are fighting for a better, brighter future.
Right now, we are seeing Supreme Court rulings, policy changes, and funding cuts that negatively impact Americans across the country. That just ain’t right. We know that America works best when we work together and put our efforts into creating a government that helps the people.
So go on, enjoy the fireworks and cookouts this evening, but just know that we’ll have a lot of work to do to keep going strong after the holiday weekend.
