Fellow American,
Melania Trump is a remarkably accomplished woman, and the epitome of grace as America’s First Lady. Yet the Left cannot and will not stop trashing her at every opportunity.
Melania gave a touching and inspiring speech this week at the Republican National Convention, and no sooner did she take the podium in the White House Rose Garden than the Hollywood elites came out swinging on social media.
During the speech, Bette Midler tweeted, “Oh, God. She still can’t speak English,” and, “She can speak several words in a few languages. Get that illegal alien off the stage!”
Melania speaks five languages, by the way — her native Slovenian, plus English, French, Serbian and German.
Mrs. Trump wasn’t the only victim of the radical left’s mudslinging though. They even went after Nick Sandmann, the MAGA hat-wearing Covington Catholic High School student who settled a defamation lawsuit with CNN earlier this year for a cool $250 MILLION.
It was John Lockhart, a CNN political analyst and former Clinton White House Press Secretary, who had some of the worst and most vocal criticism of the teenager, tweeting, “I’m watching tonight because it’s important. But i [sic] don’t have to watch this snot nose entitled kid from Kentucky.”
Guess CNN didn’t learn their lesson about smearing and slandering.
It is sickening how the Left attacks anyone who doesn’t fall lock-in-step with their ideology. It is disgusting that they will attack the First Lady and a literal teenager over nothing. It is absolutely wrong that my liberal colleagues are staying silent over the attacks on Melania Trump and Sandmann.
We need to make sure that we elect principled leaders in 2020, who will call out these baseless attacks for what they are. The left has shown their lack of integrity one too many times, and it’s time to vote them out.
