In the 250th year of our nation, we have a unique moment to reflect on the American dream and the work we still have left to do to keep it.

When I think about what that means to me, I think about the courage it took for my parents to leave everything they knew to come to this country.

They didn’t come here for an easy life; they came here for the promise of a better one.

That belief is why I’ve dedicated my career to standing up for working families as a labor lawyer, and it’s exactly why I’m running for Congress. I know what it’s like to feel unrepresented, and I know what happens when we stay silent while those in power dismantle the rights of our neighbors.

But right now, that promise is being tested by someone who would rather divide us for his own gain than bring us together.

Supporting this movement is about more than just winning an election; it’s about defending the foundation of our democracy. By working together to flip the House, we are ensuring that our government actually reflects the people it serves, protects our rights, and restores sanity to Washington.

Our nation’s story is still being written. With 250 years behind us, we have the chance to write a chapter that proves our values of fairness, opportunity, and unity are stronger than ever.
