Earlier this week, we learned that two of our incumbent alumnae – Padma Kuppa and Pam Iovino – are in precarious fights to hold onto their seats in Michigan and Pennsylvania.

We supported Padma Kuppa (MI HD-41) and Pam Iovino (PA SD-37) in 2018 and 2019 respectively, and we must protect their seats in order to successfully flip Michigan and Pennsylvania. Will you donate $20.20 right now to ensure Padma and Pam keep their seats? ([link removed][UNIQID])

In the MI House, Padma Kuppa has fought for increases to paid sick leave during the coronavirus pandemic, and for repealing anti-LGBTQ legislation. In the PA Senate, Pam Iovino introduced a $100 million coronavirus grant program and financial relief package for small business owners in the state.

It’s no secret that Michigan and Pennsylvania are two of the most critical states to win this year. At state level, the Michigan House and Pennsylvania Senate are both only 4 seats away from flipping blue. And both are perennial presidential battlegrounds – they are two of the “Big Four” states that will likely decide the presidential election.

We are also supporting 7 new candidates in Michigan and Pennsylvania this year, and there’s a very real chance we can flip these critical chambers. But, the fight will be that much harder if Padma or Pam lose the seat they fought hard to win.
