Michigan is the single most important Senate race on the map this
year, John.
And the Republicans confirmed it.
Senate Leadership Fund, the largest GOP super PAC, just announced they’re
dropping $45 million into Michigan to try and buy this open seat.
To put that in perspective, that’s more than they’re spending in Georgia,
Maine, Alaska, Iowa, and New Hampshire. Because they know — if they can
buy Michigan’s open U.S. Senate seat, they block the Democrats from having
any chance at flipping control of the U.S. Senate to serve as a real check
on Trump. It’s a massive amount of money aimed directly at defeating us.
They think they can buy this seat.

Democrats have a chance to flip a Republican-held seat. And donors are
pouring money into those races.
Michigan’s US Senate seat is currently held by a Democrat. But holding the
seat is not anywhere near guaranteed, not in a battleground state like
this one, and not with the tens of millions they’re pouring in to flip it.

against, but this kind of money is something we can’t ignore. It means the
GOP will stop at nothing to flip this seat.
