Tomorrow, many families will come together for BBQs, celebratory parties,
and fireworks displays to mark the 250th anniversary of this country's
independence.

And too often, these seemingly peaceful events and environments are
ravaged by unimaginable gun violence, causing devastation to families and
communities.

How can we celebrate this country when President Trump has proposed
disastrous rollbacks to gun regulations – some of which the Trump
Administration admits could result in mass casualties? We can't.

That's why Everytown, Moms Demand Action, and Students Demand Action are
working every day to take on the gun lobby, push for stronger gun laws,
and keep our communities safe.
