Despite declines in the teen birth rate over the last two decades, both nationally and in Texas, disparities persist and rates remain high in many populations and communities. Given this reality and a rapidly evolving landscape, the Texas Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy is working to realign policy priorities and programming to support efforts across the state. As part of this work, the Texas Campaign has retained the services of the 1000 Feathers consulting firm to conduct surveys, focus groups and interviews with stakeholders,
including teens, parents, educators, social workers, community leaders, faith leaders, elected officials, academics, providers and philanthropists. If you are located in Amarillo or South Texas and are interested in participating in the focus group for your area, email [email protected]. The South Texas group will meet virtually on Oct. 30; the Amarillo group will meet virtually on Nov. 12. |
