A NOTE FROM CHRISSY With so much going on in our communities, in Congress, and across our country, it's as important to me as ever that you're looped in on what I’ve been working on day in and day out. Here are the biggest updates from the past month:

DAILY LOCAL NEWS Houlahan: Paycheck Protection Program has saved 190,000 jobs I firmly believe our small businesses represent the backbone of our economy. That's why I've worked with local business owners since this pandemic began to make sure they get the support they need from Congress – and the Paycheck Protection Program was a vital part of this effort, saving over 190,000 jobs in our district. POLITICO House approves measure requiring federal agents to wear proper identification It was deeply concerning to see federal agents in communities across our country dressed like military troops deployed in combat zones. That's why I introduced an amendment to the Insurrection Act that would require these agents to return to wearing uniforms that properly identify them and display their name and the agency they work for. PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER OP-ED: Fund the Postal Service The failure of the Senate and this administration to fund the U.S. Postal Service is a crisis waiting to happen – and we're already beginning to experience mail delays here in Pennsylvania. I will continue demanding action to save this vital agency at a time when we're relying on it more than ever. LEARN MORE

WASHINGTON POST After hundreds of covid-19 deaths in state-run veterans homes, lawmakers press VA to adhere to science It is absolutely unacceptable that nursing homes for veterans here in Southeast PA are administering hydroxychloroquine to combat COVID-19 without any proper oversight. Our veterans deserve honor and respect, and I'm working to ensure they never get anything less than the best possible care based on sound science. LEARN MORE

USA TODAY OP-ED: We're exhausted. And now the Trump administration wants to pick a fight with the Census? This administration is planning to cut off the Census count an entire month early, which would jeopardize the ability of communities to get federal funding for programs like Medicare, food assistance, infrastructure, and so much more. That's why I'm calling on this administration to reverse this decision immediately. LEARN MORE

That's it for now! But please know that I will continue working tirelessly on behalf of you and your families, friends, and neighbors, and I'll be in touch soon with more updates. As always, thank you so much for all you do. There is work to be done!
– Chrissy
While Chrissy is focused on delivering progress in the House, fundraising is the last thing on her mind. But November will be here before we know it, and we have to make sure she has the resources to win – so we're asking for her: Will you make a donation to help reelect Chrissy to Congress? Your support will make such a difference in our work to keep this critical seat in Pennsylvania blue and defend our House majority this November.
