As we prepare to celebrate America's 250th birthday, our men and women in uniform are risking their lives to defend our freedom.

There are moments in the line of duty when these heroes need to be reminded they're not forgotten. They constantly face moments of danger and uncertainty and are often stationed far from home or missing holidays with the people they love most.
