The Supreme Court just made it even easier for billionaires and special interests to buy our elections.
By striking down limits on coordinated spending between candidates and political party committees, the Court removed one of the last remaining guardrails against unlimited election spending.
The decision is already being called Citizens United 2.0 .
Americans are sick and tired of a political system that works better for wealthy donors than it does for working families. Every decision that expands the influence of big money makes that problem worse.
But we don't have to accept it.
That’s why I’ve introduced a comprehensive anti-corruption plan to put the American people back in charge. My plan would:
✅ Ban all PAC and lobbyist money from Congress
✅ Ban members of Congress and their families from trading stocks
✅ Enact 12-year term limits for members of Congress and 18-year term limits for Supreme Court Justices
✅ Institute a binding code of ethics for Supreme Court justices
