John,
Pride Month may be over, but the fight continues. I'll never stop standing
up to defend the rights of LGBTQIA+ people throughout our country.
Last weekend, I had the privilege of celebrating Pride with my community,
marching alongside advocates, meeting with organizers, and honoring the
generations of LGBTQIA+ people whose courage has made progress possible.

But Pride is so much more than a celebration — it’s a reminder that every
right we’ve won is a result of everyday people like you refusing to stop
fighting for equality.
Although we’ve come a long way, those victories are currently under
attack.
Republican lawmakers and the Trump administration have continued to push
legislation targeting transgender Americans, restricting access to
gender-affirming care, and undermining protections against discrimination.
That is why our work doesn’t end when the calendar turns to July.
And it’s why I’ll keep fighting to defend gender-affirming care and
same-sex marriage, protect LGBTQIA+ youth, and make sure that every person
— no matter who they are or who they love — is treated with the same
dignity and respect as everyone else.
Every victory we’ve won has been powered by people willing to come
together and stand up for one another.

continue fighting for LGBTQIA+ equality and justice in Congress?
