Violations of the city's ordinance are a civil infraction punishable with a fine up to $250.

*City of Ann Arbor Update: Tubing at Argo Cascades Prohibited Beginning Aug. 28* "08/26/2020"
Learn More [ [link removed] ] Ann Arbor Parks and Recreation will prohibit the use of tubes in the Argo Cascades [ [link removed] ] beginning Friday, Aug. 28. This effort is in support of the size limits placed on social gatherings, per the state and county orders and City of Ann Arbor ordinance. The canoe liveries at Argo and Gallup will remain open and will continue to take boat reservations for individuals interested in being on the river.
