July 2, 5–8 p.m., Rockport
Celebrate America250 at Fulton Mansion State Historic Site with a festive block party featuring food trucks, Victorian-inspired games, live music by the Marcy Grace Band, crafts, and more. Stroll the scenic grounds, enjoy the bay breeze, and have some patriotic fun!

Inspired by German Texan traditions, celebrate Independence Day at Kreische Brewery & Monument Hill State Historic Sites on July 3 and 4 with historic games, patriotic crafts, and special tours atop the Bluff. Listen to German-language readings of the Declaration of Independence on July 3, plus ice cream making as you honor America’s 250th.

Old-Fashioned 4th of July Picnic
July 4, 2–4 p.m., Denison
Step into a nostalgic Fourth of July celebration at Eisenhower Birthplace State Historic Site, where families can compete for blue ribbons and enjoy old-fashioned games on the grounds of President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s birthplace. Then head to nearby Munson Stadium for the City of Denison’s fireworks extravaganza to cap off the day.
