INEDEPENDENCE DAY RIDER ALERT
On Saturday, July 4, 2026, Trinity Metro will provide free rides on all local Tarrant County services. Cowtown Visitor Shuttles are not included. Please note that some services will operate on modified schedules that day.
Skip the parking hassle and ride free to holiday gatherings, festivals, and fireworks displays across Tarrant County.
Transit tip: On July 4, park at a TEXRail station and ride to Fort Worth Central Station. Transfer to Trinity Metro bus route 46 to enjoy the fireworks at Panther Island as part of Fort Worth's Fourth celebration. Afterwards, ride route 46 back to Central Station for an easy connection to TEXRail.
We encourage all customers to review the schedule details below and plan ahead so you can focus on celebrating this landmark moment in history.
- Trinity Metro bus and On-Demand Paratransit will operate on Sunday schedules.
- Trinity Metro bus route 46 will operate extended late-night service to accommodate those enjoying the Fort Worth’s Fourth fireworks at Panther Island. Click HERE to learn more.
- Trinity Metro TEXRail will operate on its regular schedule. TEXRail will operate an additional eastbound train departing at 11:17 p.m. from Fort Worth Central Station.
- On-Demand rideshare services that traditionally operate on the weekend will operate on regular schedules.
- Trinity Railway Express and TRE LINK will operate on their World Cup non-matchday weekend schedules.
- CentrePort Circulator will NOT operate.
- Phone lines (817-215-8600) will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. for customer assistance.
- The ticket sales kiosk at Fort Worth Central Station will be open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.
