Today is quite possibly the best day of the year for man’s best friend — it’s National Dog Day!
To celebrate, we’re highlighting exonerees’ relationships with their canine companions and how they’ve helped them navigate a new world and rebuild their lives as free people.
We’re talking about folks like Malcolm Alexander, who was serving a life sentence in Louisiana State Penitentiary for a crime he didn’t commit, when he met his dog, Inn (short for Innocence).
