Friend,

Women's Equality Day is celebrated to commemorate the adoption of the Nineteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, which granted women the right to vote.

Today, I am celebrating not just the critical participation of women in the electoral process, but that women across the country are stepping up and running for office, whether it be for school board, state senate, or vice president.

While I’m honored to be the first woman to hold this State Senate seat, I know we need to do more to fight for greater representation at every level of government.

In honor of Women’s Equality Day and the 19th Amendment, I’m asking you to invest $19 or more in my campaign so we can win in November. Will you chip in today to ensure we have the resources to keep this seat blue?

Thank you,

Pam Iovino

Pam grew up here in Western Pennsylvania and served for more than 20 years in the U.S. Navy. After leaving the military, Pam continued to serve in a Senate-confirmed position as Assistant Secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs. And most recently, she served as the Director of Veterans Services right here in Allegheny County. We have a real opportunity to re-elect a Democratic veteran and public servant to the State Senate — but we need your help. Chip in right now to help Pam Iovino win this election.
