38 million. That's how many households across the country have yet to be counted. With only a month or so left until census operations close on September 30, there's a large gap that we need to close in the coming weeks. Right now, in our district, we're only 61% of the way through the people we need to reach before the deadline.  

Every person counted means more funding for resources in our communities, like our public schools, hospitals, and other social services. But the current administration is doing everything they can to make sure communities like ours continue to stay underresourced by ending census operations early, tampering with the USPS, and more.

There's always a lot of confusion around the census, but none more so than now. This particular census year comes during a global pandemic and presidential election year — all while Trump attempts to weaponize the census for his own political agenda.
