HHSC Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services to Host Virtual Listening Session July 8
The Health and Human Services Commission Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services (DHHS) will host a virtual listening session on July 8 to gather public input on all DHHS offerings and initiatives.
*Members of the public are invited to share feedback on these DHHS Programs:*
* Board for Evaluation of Interpreters Certification
* Camp Sign
* Certificate of Deafness for Tuition Waiver
* Communication Services for State Agencies
* Driver Identification Visor Card
* Last Resort Communication Services
* Resource Specialist Program
* Senior Citizens Program
* Specialized Telecommunications Assistance Program
* Training and Education
*DHHS is especially interested in feedback from those belonging to one or more of the following groups:*
* Individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing (DHH)
* American Sign Language interpreters and providers
* Program contractors and vendors for individuals who are DHH
* Members of the public who are associated with or support the DHH community
