In Massachusetts, ADL and our allies stepped in when Jewish public school students faced an alarming pattern of antisemitic bullying and harassment, including from fellow students who identified themselves as &ldquo;Team Auschwitz&rdquo; and &ldquo;Team Hamas.&rdquo;

2. In NY, It&rsquo;s Getting Better to Go to Synagogues

In New York State, there just weren&rsquo;t enough protections for people to rely on as they entered synagogues and other houses of worship. Angry protesters were intimidating, shouting, jeering those who just wanted to pray in peace.

Our experts monitor dark, ugly corners of the internet. Recently, analysts from the ADL Center on Extremism identified a Telegram user with possible imminent plans to detonate explosives and carry out a mass shooting at two synagogues on Réunion Island (a French territory in the Indian Ocean).

4. A Shield Against Antisemitic Harassment

Judges, attorneys and others in Connecticut faced severe harassment and threats on a virulently antisemitic website run by a man angry at the &ldquo;JEW-dicial branch.&rdquo; The victims needed stronger legislation against online harassment, and support in working with law enforcement. That&rsquo;s where we stepped in.

5. Making the Grade Against Campus Challenges

After the 10/7 Hamas attacks on Israel, things quickly became appalling for Jews on campus. At the height of the crisis, we rolled out our groundbreaking Campus Antisemitism Report Card. We gave good grades for success in supporting Jewish students, and shined a spotlight on the need for improvements, school by school.
