Today is Women’s Equality Day, John.

Women, especially women of color, are still fighting every day for equal rights. We are discriminated against in areas like equal pay, education, employment, healthcare, housing, representation, and more.

The Equal Rights Amendment is critical in overcoming the barriers set for women in our country by establishing that women have equal rights under the U.S. Constitution.

I’m asking you today to become a citizen co-sponsor of the Equal Rights Amendment, and sign your name to tell the Senate to pass it once and for all.

PASS THE ERA: [link removed]

In Virginia, I worked hard with my colleagues to get the Equal Rights Amendment passed -- and in doing so, we became the last state needed to send it off to the Senate for ratification.

However, Senate Republicans are holding the Equal Rights Amendment hostage, and we need to show that the people want it passed now.

Please, sign the petition now to urge the Senate to finally pass the ERA >>
