Washington Post: "The decision by the Republican National Convention to feature President Trump conducting official business inside the White House underscores how he is leveraging the powers of his office for political gain, raising questions about whether an event featured Tuesday night violated federal law."

That's right -- the very venue of the Republican National Convention may be illegal. The Hatch Act disallows executive branch officials from using their official authority to influence political campaigns -- and possible penalties for violation include a removal from federal service.

But Trump has casually dismissed the fact that he could be making felons of his staff, saying, "There is no Hatch Act because it doesn't pertain to the president." It's the kind of casual disregard for the rule of law that's marked his entire presidency. In the midst of the GOP's four-day celebration of Trump's four-year assault on our democratic norms, we're reaching out to see if you're troubled by the president's disregard for the rule of law -- tell us:
