John -

The U.S. Postal Service is facing an existential crisis: Donald Trump's administration has taken deliberate action to dismantle mail-sorting machines and limit working hours for Postal Service workers across the country - including in xxxxxx.

This has resulted in the slowing of mail delivery, which is a critical problem for rural communities, seniors who rely on the Postal Service to get vital prescription drugs and basic necessities like food, and voters who plan on safely voting by mail during the COVID-19 crisis.

During the COVID-19 crisis, slowing the mail is unacceptable, which is why we need to fight back for the Postal Service and its workers.

I've added my name to this petition calling for Congress to take action to save the Postal Service and ensure rural communities continue to get vital services the post office provides - and I hope you'll add your name, too. I'm asking 2,500 people to join me before 11:59 p.m. tonight: Sign the petition to save the U.S. Postal Service!
