Hi John,

Pride Month may be only 30 days. But because of this community, It Gets Better can show up for LGBTQ+ youth year-round.

Thank you for being part of that.

All June, you helped us reach young people online, in person, and everywhere in between. More than 150 charity streamers came together for It Gets Better: A Digital Pride Experience, streaming for more than 400 hours in support of LGBTQ+ youth for our biggest Digital Pride showing yet. Our Monster Prom voice actor stream was featured on the Twitch homepage, reached more than 375,000 viewers, and set a new record for the It Gets Better channel. That kind of visibility helps those who may not be able to celebrate Pride in person feel seen, supported, and connected.

We also showed up offline. We sent street teams to Pride festivals around the country, handing out It Gets Better swag, connecting with local communities, and helping some young people experience Pride for the very first time.

At the same time, we opened applications for our next cohort of Youth Voices ambassadors, who will be selected in July, and reviewed applications for our next round of It Gets Better: Changemakers grantees, who will be announced this fall. In other words, while Pride was happening, young LGBTQ+ leaders were already preparing to bring new projects, stories, and ideas to life.
