When Republicans started targeting my seat last year, they thought that they could just dump endless dark money attack ads and send high-profile surrogates like Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Mike Huckabee, and Rick Santorum to stand against us — and that would be enough to flip this seat from blue-to-red.

But they weren’t counting on you, John.

We are holding our own, and then some! Our campaign is on track to have one of our best grassroots fundraising months yet, and we made over 1,600 calls in two hours during our weekend day of action. It’s all because of you and your support.

Because of your help, our movement in Northeastern Pennsylvania has remained strong. Thank you.

But we can’t let up now. Republicans know that to have any chance of retaking the House Majority in 2020 they have to win in PA-08, so they will stop at nothing to flip our seat. That’s why Donald Trump was just here.
