Have you heard about the “Heartbeat bills” that ban abortion once a fetal heartbeat has been detected—usually around 6 weeks after conception? These important bills have been signed into law in 8 states. Heartbeat, combined with other laws limiting abortion, are proof that Americans will never give up on protecting “the least of these.”

But why would the progressive left hate the Heartbeat bills? Here’s why:

• Leftist politicians hate Heartbeat because it risks their power and big dollar donors (such as Planned Parenthood!).
• Planned Parenthood hates Heartbeat because every time it passes, they have to spend lots of money in court to protect their financial profits!
• Hollywood elites hate Heartbeat because the values they stand for are so directly opposed to those of our Creator that they can’t bear to acknowledge any evidence of His creation!

But do you know who loves Heartbeat? God!

He created every single heartbeat (see Malachi 2:15). And every time God creates anything, He declares it, “Good”! Man is the one who taints God’s good creation.

Who else loves Heartbeat? Christ-followers passionate about keeping the beat for life alive…including those of you in progressive states who understand that the need is urgent. What can you do today and every day? 

• Pray—that working with our alliance in over 40 states, we can pass Heartbeat bills and other abortion restricting legislation to keep the beat growing.
