“We win, they lose.”

That’s how Ronald Reagan responded when asked about his strategy for the Cold War.

And that’s the status of our fight against racist, Marxist, DEI.

For months, Accuracy in Media has called for every state to enact a Florida-style DEI ban, which prohibits educators from promoting identity politics.

North Carolina had a DEI ban, which was toothless. In fact, we released seven hidden camera investigations ([link removed]) showing university officials promoting DEI, along with multiple videos showing local officials promoting the same divisive, hateful ideology.

Well this week, North Carolina’s legislature did exactly as we requested! All educators in K-12 and higher education will be prohibited from promoting identity politics, and the state is even planning on extending the bill to local government officials.

Kansas had a worthless DEI ban, too, and our team released five investigations ([link removed]) showing radicals in higher education pushing this hateful, anti-American nonsense.

Thankfully, the Board of Regents updated its DEI ban and language almost identical to that of North Carolina.

In addition, Iowa will now be conducting biannual reviews of curriculum to uncover “courses with substantial DEI or critical race theory content.” This is crucial after what we uncovered in multiple investigations ([link removed]) .

In the first half of 2026 alone, Accuracy in Media’s undercover journalism has helped change laws, triggered Department of Justice investigations, prompted action from the Texas Attorney General, and forced multiple states to take meaningful steps toward removing DEI from education.

Thank you to our incredibly generous donors who make our work possible. Thank you also to the thousands and thousands of AIM activists who use our action alerts to email legislators and university trustees.

And a special thank you to the dozens of loudmouth university administrators who bragged to our investigators about pushing DEI – even when it was illegal. We truly could not have done it without them.

Onward to the next win!

In liberty,
