“Democracy is not a spectator sport.”
This is one of Cal’s core beliefs, and it’s a phrase we hear him say all the time. During virtual town halls and other online events, he’s quick to share why involvement in this election is critical.
If we don’t make our voices heard, Brandt,, who will? There’s so much at stake here — and in an election this close, a handful of votes will make the difference.
We’re approaching our end-of-month fundraising deadline, which is a critical time for us to ensure we have the resources to keep building our momentum. This month alone, we’ve seen overwhelming support from folks across the state (and the country!) who are ready to oust Thom Tillis and flip the Senate.
But the most important days of the campaign are right in front of us, and if we don’t meet our end-of-month fundraising goal, we’ll be in a tight spot. If you can, please pitch in today to help us hit our target:

Day after day, we see the need for new leadership. For health care workers, educators, and students. For working parents, first responders, and small-business owners. For veterans, military families, and retired communities.
All North Carolinians have felt the ripple effects of Thom Tillis’ inaction. He’s spent six years protecting Mitch McConnell, not folks at home. In November, we can send him packing.
So, in this last stretch of the campaign, let’s take Cal’s words to heart. Let’s work together to spread our message and fight for a better future. Let’s make sure our friends and neighbors know the importance of the issues on the ballot and have everything they need to vote this fall.

If we show up, we can change the course of history for generations to come.
