Republican groups have dumped $24.8 million into this race in an attempt to tear us down and keep their grip on power.
The honest truth is that the money we raise in the last week of August, can make or break our chances of flipping this Senate seat in November. I don’t want to cause a panic — but I’m worried.
If we fall short on our goals, we will have to make some tough decisions about how we spend our limited resources in the final — and most important — stretch of our grassroots campaign.
With the polls showing a single digit race and control of the Senate hinging on Colorado, we cannot afford to fall short. So, I’m setting an ambitious goal of raising $500,000 in grassroots donations this week — and that’s why I’m asking:
