------------------------------------------------------------
Stefano Loudaros Forte is a 22-year-old Greek and Puerto Rican Libertarian/Republican who grew up in Astoria (Queens) and currently resides in Flushing. Stefano was not always a Republican—as a freshman in college, he considered himself a Socialist. After opening himself up to different opinions and literature (namely Ayn Rand's work and Adam Smith's Wealth of Nations), he began to experience a significant shift in his views. Watching President Trump's achievements in office renewed his sense of patriotism and cemented his transition to the right. Stefano received his Bachelor's degree in Political Science with a specialization in studying communism and an Associate’s Degree in Philosophy from St. Francis College. He was the President of the Phi Sigma Alpha Political Science Society until his graduation.
After college, Stefano took on the role as Chief-of-Staff to John-Alexander Sakelos, who is running for State Assembly in Queens’ 26th District. If elected, Mr. Sakelos and Stefano would be the youngest Assemblyman/Chief-of-Staff team in Albany. Stefano’s duties on the campaign include social media outreach to voters, advanced event planning, and volunteer coordination.
Stefano wants to dedicate himself to changing the culture of New York and eventually flipping the state red. He met members of The New York Young Republican Club this past June at the Save Teddy protest in front of the American Museum of Natural History, and found that they are pivotal in creating that new red wave in New York. They’ve been incredibly active and successful in reaching the youth of New York with rallies, mixers, and their overall political activity. Stefano wants to play an active role in standing shoulder to shoulder with the Young Republicans to help the silent majority youth of New York become vocal.
