Hey John,
Something is changing in American politics, and Sunrise is helping drive that change.
When we launched our 2026 primary program last November, we set out to build the most ambitious electoral program in Sunrise history. We are making that happen.
Last week, Sunrise helped deliver another major set of victories.
We elected Darializa Avila Chevalier, Brad Lander, and Claire Valdez in New York, candidates our movement organized for, knocked doors for, called voters for, and fought alongside from the very beginning.
Those wins build on an extraordinary year for Sunrise's electoral program. Earlier this cycle, Sunrise also helped elect Chris Rabb, Adam Hamawy, and Analilia Mejia, growing the ranks of leaders who will fight for working people instead of corporations and billionaires.
Can you chip in today to help Sunrise keep this momentum going? [[link removed]]

Before this cycle is even over, Sunrise is on track to help elect more new endorsed members of Congress than at any point in our organization's history.
And we're far from finished. Tomorrow, we're organizing to elect Melat Kiros to Congress in Colorado’s First Congressional District.
We knew this cycle presented a once-in-a-generation opportunity, with a record number of open seats and challengers taking on entrenched incumbents. At a moment when Democratic leadership has repeatedly failed to meet the moment, we made a different bet: that it was time to clear house and elect a new generation of leaders willing to challenge our broken political system and fight for a livable, affordable future.
That bet is paying off.
Then later this summer, Sunrise will fight to send Justin Pearson, Donovan McKinney, and Sunrise co-founder Will Lawrence to Washington, continuing to build a Congress that actually reflects the urgency and values of our generation.
These victories didn't happen by accident. Sunrise volunteers have knocked on tens of thousands of doors, made hundreds of thousands of calls, and organized young people in communities across the country.
We've built the largest youth-led electoral organizing program in the country because we know that real change doesn't come from waiting for political leaders to act; it comes from electing new ones.

Your donation will help us elect Melat Kiros this week, power more Sunrise champions to victory this summer, and continue building the next generation of leadership in Congress.
We've proven this strategy works. Now let's keep winning.
In Solidarity,
Aru
