We’re writing this from the campaign trail, hitting the road and meeting with voters all across the state. Statewide organizing is a massive expense, but I promise we have an amazing plan on how to use our time wisely. As a supporter, you deserve a real look at what’s actually happening on the road, and where contributions made by folks like you are being put to work.

We are five months from Election Day. That sounds both far away and SO close, depending on the hour. From where we’re sitting right now, it feels like the latter.

Here’s what we’re seeing on the road thanks to the support from folks just like you:

Democracy Summer fellows are in neighborhoods they’ve never canvassed before, having conversations that don’t get counted until November — but matter starting now.

The community office space we built is being used every day by multiple campaigns — our people and other PA Democrats sharing voter contact infrastructure in a way that none of us could afford to do alone.

New volunteers showed up this month because they saw the news and decided watching from the sidelines wasn’t enough.

And Mary Gay is with us, doing the work, one day before an FEC deadline that the entire GOP will read on July 1st to decide how hard to come at us.

The number the GOP sees on that filing tells them everything.

A strong number means we’re organized, we’re resourced, and we have what we need to invest heavily in the places where it counts: voter outreach, digital ads, staff, and infrastructure. A weak number tells the GOP to go ahead and dump their own resources into targeting this seat and others across SE PA.

We don’t get to choose how they interpret it — but we do get to choose what the number says.

We need $25,000 by midnight Monday. We’re $6,314 away. If we hit it, we’ve unlocked an additional $5,000 for expanded reach across the coordinated PA operation. Five months out, that extra $5K has a multiplier effect we can’t get anywhere near in October.
