People First Future

Team,

Yesterday’s Republican Convention was appalling. Using the White House as a backdrop, Trump used the powers of his office for political gain. It was nothing short of disgusting.

He issued a presidential pardon, and his Secretary of State gave a speech on an official trip to Jerusalem. But even more disgusting: he conducted a naturalization ceremony at the White House — using immigrants as pawns in his political game.

Donald Trump has spent the last four years attacking immigrants and asylum seekers. He separated thousands of migrant kids from their parents, and has tried to deport nearly a million Dreamers.

This November we can restore integrity to the White House and build a more compassionate immigration system. But we need your help in these last 70 days. Can you make a contribution to support our people first candidates?

Under Trump and his Republican buddies like McConnell, immigrants have been under attack. He has called immigrants rapists, and said people from African countries were from “sh*tholes.”

We’re going to treat immigrants with compassion and common sense, instead of Trump’s cruelty. We’re going to protect asylum seekers, and not put kids and their parents in cages.

But first, we’re going to say “adiós” to Donald Trump — with your help. Pitch in what you can to elect great candidates who will work to build a people first immigration system.

Thank you for standing with us,

Julián
