As many of you know, I am from Person County and raised in Roxboro, NC. My first run for party office was to stand up for my neighbors here because rural communities like ours are often forgotten at the national level.
Paul won’t let that happen. He has deep roots in this community. He was born and raised on the family farm in Lee County. Paul has been hosting town halls across the district over the last 2 and a half weeks because he knows how important it is for our neighbors to have a voice in the decisions made in Washington.
Republicans, like Brad Knott, have shortchanged our community at every turn, cutting healthcare funding and attacking social security. I am worried about what this means for my family and my neighbors. That’s why I am so excited to have Paul running for this office, because he gets it, he understands that our rural community matters just as much as the big cities in North Carolina. He knows that farmers and our hard-working families are the backbone of our economy.
And John, I need your help to make sure that Paul has the resources he needs to win. Tomorrow is the biggest fundraising deadline for Paul so far. This report will determine who begins investing in this race as the election approaches.
