** Two Millionaires Running Against Me

, earlier today, The Detroit News broke a story ([link removed]) that two of my opponents, one who moved into my district last year to run, and the other, who doesn’t even live in my district, own multiple million dollar homes in Washington, DC!

I don’t own a million dollar home - in Michigan or in Washington, DC. In fact, I sleep in my office in Washington because I can’t afford to maintain two residences.

I come from a modest family and after serving 22 years in the U.S. Army, decided to serve the community where my wife and I live with our four children. We didn’t pick a place to live so I could become a career politician, we picked a community that represents our common sense values.

Washington DC Democrats recruited these two DC insiders to run against me because my seat is key to control of Congress. They could care less about the people who live and work here, they only care about power.

Tomorrow at midnight is the FEC filing deadline and I hope you will consider a donation of any amount to help me fight back against the DC millionaires ([link removed]) and their special interest backers trying to take this seat away from the people who call Michigan’s 7th District home.
