June is already coming to a close, it’s the end of the second quarter, and we’re officially in general election season of one of the most gut-wrenching political cycles in modern history.

I am not a dramatic person, but I have to admit I get chilled to the bone thinking about what happens if we don’t win Congress back this year.

That’s why our work this summer is so critical.

We've spent the first half of this year getting ready for this moment. Democracy Summer is underway. We've welcomed new volunteers into the campaign, expanded our footprint with new community office space for other PA Dems, and put a new campaign bus on the road. This is about so much more than just one race; we're building the operation we'll need not only to win in PA-05, but to help Democrats across Pennsylvania.

Now it’s time to set it all in motion to get to voters.

So I’m going to ask you, as we come up on a critical FEC public filing at EOQ, will you make a donation to help us in this work? We put our budget together for the coming weeks and determined we need to raise another $25,000 [[link removed]] before midnight on June 30 to keep our plans on track. If we hit our goal, it will mean allocating an additional $5,000 to expand our reach. That could be game-changing for the Democratic slate.

This public filing comes at an important moment.

Over the next FIVE months, GOP operatives, campaigns, and organizations across the country will start making decisions about where to invest resources. Where to dump ad spends, where to focus their special interest money, where to go on the attack to push out Dems standing in the way of Trump’s MAGA agenda.

Pennsylvania will be at the center of those back-room conversations.

So will I, and so will my campaign. Let’s be honest, I’m not exactly making friends in the Trump Administration.

While I’ve been playing my part protecting my constituents and interrogating his officials, we've been making plans and building coalitions, coordinated programs, and collaborative efforts that can reach voters at a scale none of us can achieve alone. Frankly, because that MAGA money machine is too big and too corrupt for any one campaign to keep at bay without help.

This opportunity we have to show real strength and endurance against those forces doesn’t happen by accident. It happens because we stand in solidarity and build a campaign that is serious, prepared, and ready to lead.

That's what this upcoming public FEC filing on June 30 helps demonstrate.

The work we're doing now is about much more than my race. The fight for the House majority will run through Pennsylvania, and I know many people are counting on our campaign to play a meaningful role in the drive to win that power back and stop Trump’s chaotic, cruel work.
