Hear from Registrar Joe Gloria on your options to vote in this general
election!
Friend,

We’re 70 days away from the 2020 general election! If you’ve been
following our feeds, you may be aware that the Nevada Legislature recently
passed a major voting rights bill, AB 4, which provides for mail-in voting
in the upcoming election, in addition to expanded in-person vote centers
from the primary election. This law does many things to allow Nevadans to
vote safely, while not disenfranchising voters with excessively long
lines.

However, voting by mail is still new for many and with a whirlwind of
misinformation and stress of the ongoing pandemic, we’re working with our
Let Nevadans Vote coalition to bring YOU the facts on how to vote in
Nevada this general election! Tune into the [ [link removed] ]Battle Born Progress
Facebook page this Thursday, August 27th, at 5:00PM for a live virtual
town hall with Clark County Registrar Joe Gloria to discuss how the
election in Nevada will work.

Even if you don’t live in Clark County, this livestream will cover what
changes AB 4 made and what to expect this November. If you haven’t yet
made your plan to vote, this livestream is your chance to get informed so
you can make sure your voice is counted! Be sure to bring your burning
questions for Joe so you can be prepared to vote this election.

On that note, if you live in Clark County or Washoe County, both are
seeking poll workers to accommodate the various in-person vote centers
available during Early Vote and on Election Day. If you are not part of a
high-risk population and are looking for a part time job, you can apply to
assist at a polling site by going [ [link removed] ]here for Clark County and [ [link removed] ]here for
Washoe.

Looking forward to Thursday,
Will Pregman
