I’m sure I won’t be the first person you’ve heard say that this election in November is perhaps the most consequential in our lifetime. There’s so much at stake this election year, especially when it comes to issues that affect kids.

The coronavirus pandemic has brought into sharp focus how much support children around the country – and around the world – need to help ensure they can reach their potential in school and in life.

Child care centers are closing, making it even harder for our littlest learners to get ready for kindergarten.

About 1 in 5 kids aren’t getting enough to eat, as laid-off parents struggle to put food on the table.

Children seeking safety in the U.S. are languishing in detention centers where they are at risk for contracting coronavirus.

And around the world, close to 1 billion children are out of school.

We need to elect leaders up and down the ballot who will be advocates for kids, and to do that we need the ongoing support of engaged activists like you.

Please help fund our 2020 election efforts and all our work for kids with a donation of $20/month – or whatever you can afford. Donate by Labor Day and a generous supporter will chip in an extra $200!

Our work turning out voters for kids will have a huge impact in the lives of kids like Hope and Malia. They have big dreams for the future. And their Head Start program in Arkansas is helping them get ready to succeed in kindergarten and beyond. But sadly, about 2 out of 3 kids who are eligible for Head Start aren’t able to participate due to lack of funding.

This is robbing children of their potential – all kids deserve a strong start! It’s why we need leaders who will put kids at the top of their agenda.

But to do that we need you.
