House Bill H958 Election Law Changes, sponsored by Republicans Blackwell; Stevens (Primary) Blust; Dixon; Kidwell; Penny; Pike; and Ward was drafted in April of 2025. The North Carolina Election Integrity Team (NCEIT.org) has been diligently working with the House Elections Law Committee to fix fatal flaws in the bill (which are still there but worse). The House Election Law Committee passed the bill out of Committee a few days ago and sent it to be scheduled for a floor vote on Tuesday, June 30th with the egregious changes to H958. This debacle that they have cooked up looks like a Leftist dream to turn NC into NY and CA. If passed by the House, it will go to the NC Senate where we will have another chance to fix the bill. In the meantime, PLEASE call NC House Republican Chair and Vice Chairs of the Rules Committee and Election Law Committee and leave a message. You can follow up with an email. FIX H958!
