Rent is climbing while hedge funds buy up whole neighborhoods and turn them into rentals. Groceries cost more every single trip to the store. The paycheck covers a little less than it did a year ago. As Vincent puts it: it's gotten expensive just to be poor.

He understands this struggle because he grew up with it. And in the statehouse, he did something about it, leading the fight to cut the grocery tax so families could keep more of what they earn.

But there's only so much you can do in a legislature built to ignore you. That's why he's running for Congress: to take the fight for working families somewhere it can actually move the needle.
