Hi friends, 

I know you've been getting a lot of emails about our Sept. 2 fundraising deadline – but that doesn't mean we aren't still focused on the issues that matter to Louisianans. It's the reason Gov. Edwards takes this reelection campaign so seriously. On top of the progress we've made in the last few years, there's so much more he still wants to do.

You probably remember how things were back when Bobby Jindal was governor: huge budget deficits, one of the largest populations without health insurance and deeply neglected public services. Gov. Edwards turned things around. We've been running a budget surplus, invested in small businesses and secured health insurance for half a million hardworking Louisianans through Medicaid expansion.

The governor is determined to keep Louisiana moving forward, and part of that depends on hearing from supporters like you. Especially in the crucial final weeks of this campaign, we want to check in and see which issues matter most. So I'm sending along a quick survey you can fill out to help our campaign.

Will you take just a moment to answer a few questions about which issues should be prioritized? Gov. Edwards really values your responses, and it will help him out a lot on the campaign trail.
